Name:
Peter Mallar
Position:
- PADI Instructor
- Shop Staff
Bio:
Pete hails from the Florida Keys, and was a stereotypical “Keys Critter,” and grew up fishing, swimming, surfing, diving, and working on boats. He could often be found sunning himself on the roof of a fishing charter, or racing around on “borrowed” Jet Ski’s.
Pete came to Alaska after falling asleep in the baggage room of a cruise ship that he was loading for a local tour operator. By the time he woke up, he was in-port in California, and he decided that if he just stayed on-board long enough, he would end up back in Florida. He was wrong. This particular cruise was bound for the Northwest Passage.
Pete exited the ship in Anchorage, Alaska, before it could get any colder.
