Christmas Party and New Year’s Dives!
Dive Alaska is looking forward to doing some downright awesome scuba this winter, and the holidays are the perfect time to ditch your in-laws from out-of-town, and hang out with other divers!
Christmas in (Dive) Alaska!
We always said we we’re grateful to the Alaskan diving community for all the love and support they’ve shown us, but actions speak louder than words, so we’re throwing a Christmas party for all the members of the Alaskan diving community on December 22nd, from 4:00—6:00 PM at Dive Alaska.
Everybody (and we mean everybody) is welcome to come, and Dive Alaska will provide food, drinks, games, music, and shenanigans.
However, there is a cover charge: please bring one of the following: a) a great attitude, b) some canned food to donate, or c) make a donation to the Alaska Dive, Search, Rescue, and Recovery Team through their website, or by purchasing a limited-edition Team Sponsor t-shirt. Shirts are $50, and every last cent of the proceeds go to an all-volunteer team serving some of Alaska’s most rural and remote communities.
We’re looking forward to seeing you and spending some time sharing the holiday spirit!
Dive Into the New Year!
Dive into 2019 with Dive Alaska!
Dive Alaska will be hosting a New Year’s Eve dive (that’s Sunday, December 31st, for all of you who are a little narc’d this time of year) to ring in the New Year down in Smitty’s Cove, Whittier. Dive Alaska will have staff members attending to help provide buddies for all levels of experience, from newly-certified to technical, and we look forward to having an awesome morning in anticipation of the evenings festivities.
No buddy? No problem! We can get you linked up with a group down in Whittier.
Any tunnel from 8:30 to 10:30 AM is fair game. Most of the Dive Alaska staff will be going through on the 9:30 AM tunnel.
This will also be the last day of The Great Unicorn Hunt and the chance to win thousands of dollars in prizes or a free PADI Ice Diver course.
